Say YES to the Dress

Sweet Momma took off work yesterday and we went shopping!
(with goals in mind...haha)


I found three dresses at Belk that I am going to wear to my next three Bridal Showers

The best part...all these dress were on the 50% off sale yesterday. WHOOT.


The most exciting news is that....

my bridal gown is in!

I had my first fitting yesterday and it was amazing to finally have my dress on.


Wedding things that are in Progress:
-printing out invitations, RSVP cards as we speak
-Bridal gown fittings
-favor hunting (any ideas?)
-touching base and confirming appointments and venues


Starting my Job on Monday is going to be an interesting thing to throw in the mix of the crazy summer.

¿La lluvia?

The Rain has been Crazy Lately.


I cant go anywhere with out my wellies and umbrella.

Yesterday traveling to work, I saw and was stuck in traffic by 3 wreaks caused by the rain.

I also came across a little bridge that made me a little nervous... The water was almost as high as the bridge! The road curve around to be parallel with the river and at all the low spots in the road the river was so high that is was coming into the road. SCARY.

Don't get me wrong: I am thankful for the Lords blessing of rain

But I have to be honest, I haven't seen this much rain in a long time....
I sure hope it is not a foreshadow of the rest of the summer...

I have a rather LARGE event (the wedding) happening this summer that I don't want to be rained out!

Good to be back

After a Long break from Blogging... I AM BACK
...and have so much to tell you


First...my sweet friends threw me a lingerie shower.
It
was a "girls night in" that was a slumber party.
so much fun and way to Hilarious!

and yes...they made me wear "bride to be" pins in most flattering places
(sorry I cant show more pics..Mr. H I know you are reading!!)

I am headed to Raleigh this weekend for one of my BF's wedding and then back to finish exams.

The theme is a pajama sleepover party!
We are going to play fun games, watch wedding movies and have lots of girly fun.
Of course I am going to open my lingerie presents which I am super stoked about.

Mr. H bought her for us yesterday...I love our new baby!

3 months
until I am Mrs. H!

Here is my checklist for the next 3 months:
(there are probably things I am missing)

-Dress fittings
-find wedding favors
-Programs for the ceremony
-print invitations
-address and send invites
-contact the caterer to confirm the menu
-confirm floral arrangements with the florist
-find floating candles
-bridal portraits
-figure out how I am going to do my hair (extensions maybe??)
-finish the bridesmaid gifts
-finish my engagement scrapbook
-get my wedding band sized
-find hair stylist for me and my bridesmaids
-finalize tuxedos for Mr. H and his groomsmen and my dad
-complete documentation to change my name
-talk to my reception DJ about music
-decide ceremony music
-rent chairs for the ceremony
-write thank you cards
-finalize my veil
-staying cool, calm and collected
